As part of PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk (SPINDO)'s commitment in implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG), the company provides a Whistleblowing System (WBS) as a means of reporting violations. This system is designed to encourage transparency, accountability, and responsible corporate management.

Background
SPINDO developed the WBS as an early detection tool for violations of the code of ethics, code of conduct, and conflict of interest that could potentially harm the company. With the WBS, SPINDO strives to create a work environment that is transparent, free from irregularities, and in accordance with the company's ethical standards.

Purpose of WBS
The main objectives of the WBS implementation at SPINDO are:
  1. Prevent and detect violations early.
  2. Provide reporting facilities for employees, customers, business partners, and other related parties.
  3. Ensure fair and professional handling of reporting.
  4. Protecting whistleblowers from all forms of threats, discrimination, or intimidation.

Scope of Reporting
SPINDO's WBS covers reporting of the following actions:
  1. Fraud in financial statements.
  2. Misuse of company assets.
  3. Bribery, illegal gratuities, and corruption.
  4. Violations of company regulations, internal policies, or applicable laws.
  5. Conflict of interest that harms the company.
